Zara motoriza sus zapatos versionando los modelos de Prada

Esta mañana, ya que estaba en el centro mi ciudad, Barcelona, me he acercado a Zara. ¿Ganas de sol y playa? En Zara, pese a que el invierno no haya oficialmente acabado, ya no saben qué es eso. Y es que colgado de sus perchas encontrarás todas las novedades que te permitirán estar al día de las últimas tendencias de la próxima primavera-verano.

This morning, while shopping at Barcelona´s dowtown, my city, I went to Zara. ¿Are you on the mood of sun and beach? Although the winter hasn´t finished yet, at Zara they don´t think the same. Around the store and its racks you´ll find all the new clothes that will keep you up on the upcoming SS trends.

El modelo de Prada tiene, sobresaliendo del tacón, un ala como el característico alero que presentaban esos coches tan americanos y que fueron todo un icono de un estilo de vida de los jóvenes de esa época.

The Prada´s model shoe has, sticking out of the heel, a wing as the one´s that the american cars had too. A car that was a symbol of a way of life and an icon of youth.

Lace pink dress

Me encanta el color rosa así que estoy de suerte porque ya están empezando a llegar en las tiendas todo tipo prendas y accesorios en este color. Todo su abanico de opciones dentro de la paleta del color rosa será un hit este verano: desde el tono más pastel hasta el fucsia subido pasando por los tonos neón.

Pink is my favourite color so I´m really lucky because the stores are starting to sell all kind of clothes and accesorizes in pink. That nice colour is going to be a hit this summer. Since the most candy pink to the neon-tone including fuchsia, all the pink palete´s tones are being a chic option.


Mientras miraba vestidos en Asos.com, una de mis tiendas on-line favoritas, me ha llamado la atención un mini vestido de encaje en color rosa de la firma inglesa Darling.

While I was looking for dresses at Asos.com, one of my favourite´s on-line stores, a mini pinkand lace dress from the english brand Darling has caught all my attention.

El vestido de Darling es corto y el acabado de la falda hace forma de picos, mientras que el de Valentino es maxi y tiene un volante a la altura de la cintura. The dress from the high street Darling has a mini skirt´s lenght with a final shape of peacs, while the one´s from Valentino has a maxi lenght and a frill in the waist. Peplum: a trend seen on Elie Saab´s catwalk

El Peplum es una silueta que vuelve con fuerza esta temporada. De inspiración griega, gracias a los volantes superpuestos realzarás tus curvas marcando caderas y entallando tu cintura.

Peplum is the new tren that we will want to wear that coming season. That Greek-inspired silhouette, thanks to its overlapping leaflets, will enhance your curves marking your hips and notching your waist.  
¿Qué te parece este vestido de Elie Saab? En color beige, la silueta femenina se redefine con la superposición, en la altura de la cintura, de dos volantes laterales. El pronunciado escote le da al diseño más sensualidad.

Si bien en este caso el gigante del Low Cost español ha diseñado el vestido con un cuello redondo, lo que le quita ese aura sensual al vestido. En cuanto al detalle del cinturón, seguro que encontrarás, si es que no lo tienes ya, un cinturón estrecho en metal dorado para poder engalanar tu cintura como hemos visto en la creación de Elie Saab.

Although in this case the Spanish giant´s Low Cost is selling a dress with a round neck, which takes away the sensuality aura to the dress. And about the detail of the belt, I´m sure you´ll find, if you don´t alreaddy have it, one narrow belt in metallic gold to decorate your waist, as seen in the Elie Saab´s dress.

Peep-toes con glamour

Seguro que a más de una os gustaría tener unos Peep-toe con lazito firmados Valentino.

Perhaps most of one of you would like to own a pair of peep-toe shoes signed Valentino.

¿No os parecen que son un par de zapatos que desprenden glamour con sólo mirarlos? Seguro que se los veremos lucir a alguna famosa pisando una alfombra roja.

If you´re on the same situation as me that, for the moment - at least that´s what I´ve known - I´m not going to step on any red carpet in front of thousands of flashes, but you´re going to some party or just want some glamourous shoes for going out to dinner with your boyfriend or with your best friends, I´ve found a pair of shoes from Ted Baker that will do the same role as those signed Valentino.

Topshop trying to design like Proenza Schouler

Proenza Schouler demostró una vez más la maestría de su talento en una colección impregnada de estampados florales, como el vestido que muestro a continuación. Un vestido con flores en tonos azules y marrones para "enfríar" las calurosas temperaturas del próxima verano gracias a estos colores de la gama de fríos.


Proenza Schouler showed us once again all her talent in a collection impregnated of florals prints, as seen in the dress I am showing you on the first picture. It´s a dress with a flower print in blues and browns colors, tones of colours that are going to cool the hot summer temperatures that are approaching, thanks to that colours in the range of cold tones.

En Topshop he encontrado un modelo que no dudaría en apostar lo que fuese en afirmar que el diseño visto en la pasarela de Proenza Schouler les ha servido de inspiración.

At Topshop I have found a dress on which I wouldn´t hesitate to bet whatever it was in order to assert that the design seen on the Schouler catwalk show has been a source of inspiration to Topshop designers.

Mismo estampado floral, mismos colores fríos para "colorear" las flores. Varía el corte del modelo, el de Topshop es de tirantes, tiene una caída más ligera y el largo de la falda es más corto.

The dress has the same floral print and the same cold colours for dyeing the flowers. Whats different is de shape of the dress. The Topshop´s one is sleeveless, has a lighter fall and the skirt length is shorter.

Pero, ¿No creeís que se han inspirado en el modelo de pasarela?

But, ¿Don´t you think that Topshop has recreated the dress from Proenza Schouler?

Por 70 euros puedes hacerte con el vestido de Topshop. Mientras que seguro que el de Proenza, un diseño precioso, estará más que fuera del alcance de nuestros bolsillos. Al menos del mío ahora mismo sí.

For the price of 70€, you can buy the model from Topshop. While I´m sure that the wonderful design from Proenza will be so expensive that will not be affordable for most people.

Looking for a Biker jacket

La nueva colección de Karl Lagerfeld, Karl, ya está a la venta en Net-a-Porter. Una de las prendas que me gustan de su línea "rockera" es la chaqueta "Jacey" de cuero de estilo Biker con efecto de piel de serpiente. Aunque el precio ya no me gusta tanto: 1000 €.

The new collection designed by the Káiser Karl Lagerfeld, Karl, is already available on Net-a-Porter. One of the one staff I would like to buy is the "Jacey" leather-jacket. It´s a biker jacket with snakeskin-effect leather. But I don´t like the price of that wonderful jacket: 1000 €.

Mango y los vestidos "Wap Dress" de Diane

¿Os gustan los vestidos drapeados de la neoyorkina Diane Von Furstenberg? Sí, me refiero a sus vestidos míticos conocidos como los "Wap Dress". Unos vestidos que son todo un "savoir faire" y que catapultaron a la fama a su creadora. Uno de sus modelos es el "New Jeanne" que forma parte de la colección 1974. En la imagen siguiente os lo muestro en colores azul y rosa.


¿Do you like the draped dresses designed by Diane Von Furstenberg? Sí, I am talking about the iconic´s ones known as "Wap" dresses. Dresses which are a "savoir faire" and catapulted to fame to her creator. One of her most-wanted dress is the "New Jeanne" that belongs tu the 1974 collectio. In the next image I´m showing you that dress in pink and blue colours.

Mirando y rebuscando he encontrado la solución. En Mango podéis conseguir un vestido muy similar al de la diseñadora del Upper East Side.

Looking and browsing stores, I´ve found a solution. In Mango stores you can get a garment similar to the one´s from the designer that comes from the Upper East Side.

 

Cambiará el color, en este caso el estampado floral es beis sobre fondo coral. También cambián las mangas: Mango las acorta para hacer el modelo más veraniego. Pero el icónico modelo de Diane es fácilmente reconocible en este vestido de la firma española.

The colour of the dress changes. On that case, the flower print is coral and beige. The cutting of the sleeves is also different: on the Mango´s dress they are shorter in order to make the dress more suitable for coming summer. But the iconic dress from Diane is easily recognizable on the spanish fashion brand model.


Así que si os apetece ir a la moda del alto Manhattan, acercaros a la tienda Mango que tengáis más próxima a vuestra casa. O bien comprarlo on-line.

Zara: Inspirándose en Dries Van Noten

¿Os gusta la falda que Dries van Noten presentó en su desfile Primavera-Verano 2012? Es una falda con estampado de flores en tamaño XL y que apuesta por el binomio de colores blanco y negro. El detalle de esta falda: presenta unos volantes en el bajo.

¿Do you like the skirt that Dries Van Noten launched during his Spring-Summer 2012 catwalk show? It´s a skirt with a flower print in binomial black and white. Pay attention to the detail of that skirt: it has some frills in the bottom.

Si bien se han ahorrado los volantes, el parecido es evidente. Así que si queréis vestir a lo Dries Van Noten sin fulminar la visa, ya sabéis dónde encontrar el modelo "casi" idéntico. Lo mejor en este caso siempre es el precio: 35,95 €.


Althought they have avoided the frills on their design, the resemblance is clearly evident. PIllados en Blanco

Bonita y barata es la blusa que encontrarás a la venta en Blanco. En colores pastel, un color que básicamente lidera toda la colección de esta marca Low Cost, la blusa blanca tiene unas rayas en tonos coral, melocotón y rosa palo a lo largo de las mangas.

Nice and cheap. That two words described so well the blouse you´ll find in Blanco. The pastel colours are the tones that basically leads the entire collection from that High Street fashion brand. The blouse has a stiped print on both sleeves in coral, peach and pale pink colours.

Cierto que Blanco no ha copiado tal cual el modelo, pero claramente que esta firma más económica y accesible a nuestros bolsillos sí ha bebido de la fuente de inspiración que ha sido para ellos el desfile de Chloè. That´s true that Blanco hasn´t copied the blouse as is compared to the catwalk one´s, but we can just see that the more affordable and accesible to our pockets brand has drunk from the fountain of inspiration that was for them the Chloè collection. En su nueva colección Primavera-Verano, Zara ha sacado a la venta unas sandalias que tienen un elevado parecido con las presentadas en New York para su colección invernal por Alexander Wang.

In its new Spring-Summer collection, Zara is selling a pair of shoes that have a high resemblance to those designed by Alexander Wang and that were sold during the winter season. 



La diferencia de precio sí es abismal. Si quieres imitar el look newyorkino del jóven Alexander Wang, por sólo 29,95 € hazte con estas sandalias de Zara que, si bien son de la nueva temporada, ya encontrarás a la venta en sus tiendas. Y seguro que no tardarán muchos días en agotarse.

¿Por qué la idea de este blog? Muy sencillo: todas queremos vestir los maravillosos diseños que los grandes maestros de la moda muestran en las pasarelas. Pero son creaciones que a muchas se les salen de su presupuesto.

Sé lo que es eso: me encantaría comprarme un vestido de Chanel, pero mis ingresos en la actualidad no me dan para tanto. Cierto que tengo la suerte de poder comprarme bastantes cosillas de diseñadores, pero no negaré que muchas prendas de mi fondo de armario son de Zara, H&M, Topshop, Asos o Forever 21, entre otras.

Y al haber estudiado estilismo, sigo muy de cerca las tendencias de moda. Tanto que en mi lista de lecturas nocturnas no falta, junto a una buena novela, una pila de revistas: Elle francés o versión inglesa; Madame Figaro; Harper´s Bazaar USA; Vogue Paris; Company; Grazia; Woman; Marie Claire en varios idiomas; Vogue en varios idiomas; In Style UK, etc...

También me gusta estar al día en cuanto a las pasarelas, que sigo siempre en vogue.fr. Vaya, que me encanta la moda de los grandes diseñadores. Y como también soy asidua a las tiendas Low Cost o High Street en inglés, quiero compartir mis "hallazgos" con tod@s vosotros.

Y con hallazgos me refiero a esas prendas que, de tanto que se inspiran las firmas Low Cost en los diseños de pasarela, algunos de ellos hasta si los complementas de manera adecuada darían el pego.

Sí, y es que ¿no encuentras en Zara o H&M prendas que, si no supieses que son de Zara o de H&M (y cito estas dos como ejemplos) te preguntarías si no son la prenda original vista en la pasarela? Y es que hay copias tan conseguidas que con ellas realmente puedes llenar tu fondo de armario inspirándote en la pasarela.
